Is it Time to Change up your Skincare?

I often get asked if I ever switch up my skincare and the answer is...kinda!

I have my staples that I use daily, but a good rule of thumb is to switch up your products in the hydration & moisturizer department seasonally.

❄️For winter, I usually gravitate towards a thicker, richer nighttime moisturizer/creams & serum that adds hydration.

☀️For summer, I will swap that out for a lighter nighttime moisturizer/creams & serum that combats free radical damage (antioxidant rich) since I will be out in the sun more.

Now that doesn't mean you can't use these types of serums all year round, but that is what I do to switch things up. Also, I won't exfoliate at home as much during the summer or I will use a gentle exfoliation. Why is this? You don't want to become sun sensitive by doing too much (or even worse...burn!). That's why I don't recommend doing peels in the summer months.

One thing that will always stay the same...applying your daily SPF moisturizer! ALWAYS, no matter what time of year it is!
